(Note: babtism may have been 25 Feb 1796) 1880 Census Jun 1880 in South Whitehall Township, PA (Age 84 - on 1880 census.). He died on 04 Mar 1886 in Fullerton, Lehigh, PA [4]. *** Research Notes: ****
- Also known as Jacob Weiser (see marriage announcement below)
- Jacob Wisser, a son of Daniel Wisser, was a stone mason employing from eight to ten men. The greater part of his life he lived at Crackersport. The latter part of his life he lived with his son Lewis at Fullerton, where he died aged ninety-one years.

History of Lehigh County, Pennsylvania, and a Genealogical and Biographical Record of Its Families, Volume 3
By Lehigh County Historical Society -Published in 1914 and downloadable from above link. (note that the book was published over 100 years after his birth)
Problem-
It is generally agreed that Jacob's father may not have been named Daniel. Some suggest his parents may have been Johannes Wisser and his wife Elisabeth (Kohler) Wisser. While it seems that Johannes and Elizabeth had a son named Jacob and lived in that area I am still seeking solid information that might confirm the true identity if his parents.
