CHARLESTON - Jack Carlton Cornell, 79, of Charleston died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at a local hospital. He was born Jan. 2, 1931, in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. He was a retired electronic technician for Optec Inc. and a Navy veteran. He was the widower of Marie Cornell.
A private family graveside service will be at the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Charleston.
He is survived by his companion, Patricia Terwilliger of Bloomsburg, Pa.; a daughter, Ellen Spanel of Charleston; a son, Craig Cornell of Jupiter, Fla.; two sisters, Edith Lear of Berwick, Pa., and Delores Casterline of Philadelphia; a brother, James Cornell of Valaria, Fla.; and two grandchildren. |
