Release filed in Union Co., PA, Vol. C, pg. 438: "We, Henry Kelchner of ______ Twp., Columbia Co., PA, and Magdalena, his wife, late Magdalena Dunkle, one of the daughters and legatees of Killian Dunkle, late of Buffaloe Twp., have received from Peter Dunkle, Executor of Estate of Kellian Dunkle, full satisfaction and payment of all sums, bequests, as are given said Magdalena, and all interest accured thereupon. Signed 23 April 1817 by Henry Kelchner, Magdalena Kelchner. Witnesses: Jas. Hutchinson, Elizabeth Hutchison of Columbia County. The Inventory of all goods and chattels, rights and credits which were of Killian Dunckle lists as part of the estate a cash amount paid to each child: Magdalena and her husband had received the sum of $954.00 before the estate was settled.
