THOMAS L. WIESER, painter and paper-hanger
of Allentown, was born Nov. 26, 1847, in North
Whitehall township, Lehigh county. He was
educated in the public school at Cedarville and
brought up on a farm until 1864, when he enlisted
in the Civil War as a private of the 2d
Pennsylvania Heavy Artillery and served until
