Jonathan Wieser and family. Details on the lives of two of his sons Henry, and Thomas. Pages are from a 1914 historical publication.

  • Notes
    • I have this information on him from the book "History of Lehigh County, Pennsylvania" . If I remember correctly it was published about 1914.

      Jonathan Wieser, (was) a
native of Berks county, where he carried on the
trade of weaver (mostly bed-spreads) near Hamburg,
for a number of years; then located in Lehigh
county, where he conducted farming operations
in different localities. He died at Allentown,
aged 86 years. In early life he was a
staunch Democrat, but in later years became a
Republican. He was married to Hannah Henninger,
      of Whitehall township, near Wennersville,
and they had twelve children, six of whom
died in infancy: Jonathan; Adeline, m. William
Ritter; Mary, m. Edward Eisenhard; Henry
      W.; Gideon; and Thos. L.
