• Obituary: Floyd C. Fajna, Sr., 69, of Leesport, died Tuesday, January 14, 2014 in his residence. He was the husband of Darlene M. (Schlenker) Fajna. Born in Emporia, Greenville Co., Virginia, he was the son of the late William J., Sr. and Kathryn (Reigel) Fajna; and step-son of the late Pearl S. (Wrenn) Fajna. Floyd worked for thirty-five years as a maintenance mechanic for the former Construction Fasteners, now SFS intec., Wyomissing. Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons: Floyd C. Fajna, Jr., Lawrenceville, VA; and Christopher F. Fajna, Leesport; and one daughter: Kerrie A. Schappell, fiancé of John Kovach, Brockton. He is also survived by eight brothers: Albert "Sonny" Fajna, Shoemakersville; Wayne Fajna, Emporia; William "Jess" Fajna, Reading; Charles "Danny" Fajna, Roanoke Rapids, NC; Joseph "Teddy" Fajna, Gasburg, VA; Robert "Tony" Fajna, Mohrsville; Carl "Carly" Fajna; and Richard "Ricky" Fajna, both of Lawrenceville. Floyd was predeceased by a brother: James "Rusty" Fajna. Services will be held on Saturday at 10:30 am from Leibensperger Funeral Homes, Inc., 223 Peach Street, Leesport. Burial will follow in Gernant's Cemetery, Ontelaunee Twp. A viewing will be held in the funeral home Friday 6:00 to 8:00 pm and Saturday 10:00 to 10:30 am.
