Peter Wisser was born in Herdorf, Prussia (now Germany) and arrived in the United States in 1848. Currently the best information on Peter Wisser is on the two sites listed below. Be sure to visit both since they are both in different styles and probably contain different information.
Currently as of May 2014 I have not been able to connect this Wisser line to mine. Eric and I (Gary) continue to research and suspect that the two lines will connect somewhere back in Europe

It has a lot of good information on the descendants of Peter Wisser who settled in the United States in 1848.
